Out of the hotel and up the mountain. 120 km of well-marked and signposted mountain bike trails with a 11,000 m altitude difference await in Grossarl. Keep up your stamina on your biking holiday in Salzburg, with a choice of easy, moderate or difficult trails - and don’t forget to take a breather at one of the 40 or so staffed mountain huts.
New e-bikes for adults are available to rent from Hotel Auhof.
Guided tours
Weather permitting, a guided mountain bike tour starts every Friday from June to October at the “Aktiv” meeting point. Good physical condition and experience of cycling on gravel roads are prerequisites. Simply register the day before, be there at 9:30 am - and off you go!

If you want to take it a little easier during your biking holiday, the valley cycle path that leads to Hüttschlag and continues into the valley promises a relaxing ride. A modern e-bike offers maximum support for mountain biking in Salzburg, allowing less seasoned cyclists to keep up and conquer the MTB routes up to the mountain huts.
